Basic all-weather multi use sports surface

Surface type

Two layer bitumen macadam with optional acrylic or polyurethane coat or a polyurethane and rubber coated texture coat.

Product History

The use of colour-coated, modified macadam for tennis and multi-sport use was introduced in the mid-1970’s, refer to data sheet.

Play characteristics

A good, general purpose surface. Suitable for most sports. The polyurethane coating offer greater slip resistance for Netball.

Other Characteristics

Good all-weather performance with good foothold in most weather conditions.

Recommended uses

Ideal for installations in schools, parks and all venues where budget restrictions prevail.
