Olympic Gold Medallist Opens AMB Sports Pitch

Richard Dodds, captain of the Great Britain’s Hockey Team who won the gold medal at 1998 Seoul Olympic Games, opened the new prestigious AMB Sports hockey pitch at Bradfields College on Sunday 09 March 2008.

The grand opening of the pitch was jointly sponsored by AMB Sports and TigerTurf. The programme for the day comprised:

• Hockey Master Class
• Opening ceremony and champagne VIP reception
• Exhibition match
• England Hockey Team vs. Bradfield College
• Prep School

Richard Dodds congratulated both AMB Sports and TigerTurf on the magnificent new hockey pitch and supporting tennis/netball courts. Richard plays on the pitch regularly for Reading Hockey Club Vets and was extremely complimentary on the playing characteristics of the Wett Dressed (now named Evolution) TigerTurf surface and the quality of the construction.
